Cow & Gate First Infant Milk Stage 1 is a nutritionally complete formula designed for infants from birth to 6 months. It serves as a sole source of nutrition during this stage and can also complement a weaning diet from 6 months onward.

• No Palm Oil: The recipe has been updated to remove palm oil, offering a blend of vegetable oils that may be more suitable for some infants. 

Preparation and Usage:

• Feeding Guide: Quantities vary by age and weight. For example, for infants up to 2 weeks (approximately 3.5 kg), the recommendation is 3 level scoops (1 scoop = 4.5g) mixed with 90 ml of water, administered over 6 feeds within 24 hours. 

• Preparation Steps:

  1. Wash hands thoroughly before preparing the feed.
  2. Sterilize all feeding equipment.
  3. Boil fresh water and let it cool to approximately 70°C.
  4. Pour the required amount of water into a sterilized bottle.
  5. Using the scoop provided, add the appropriate number of level scoops of powder to the water.
  6. Secure the bottle cap and shake well until the powder is fully dissolved.
  7. Cool the feed to lukewarm (37°C) before feeding.

• Storage: Store unopened tins in a cool, dry place. Once opened, use within 4 weeks and keep the tin tightly closed.
