Xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.1% is a nasal decongestant commonly used to relieve nasal congestion caused by colds, allergies, or sinusitis. It works by constricting the blood vessels in the nasal passages, reducing swelling and congestion. This solution is typically administered as nasal drops or spray and provides fast-acting relief. It should be used as directed, usually not more than three times a day and for no longer than 7 consecutive days to avoid rebound congestion.
